The Jungle Book Kids (Thu. May 23rd @ 6:00pm)
Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS is playing at Aug Prep WE Energies Performing Arts Center starting on May 22nd and May 23rd at 6pm. The 30-minute musical, designed for elementary school-aged performers, is based on the Rudyard Kipling novel and the 1967 Disney film. The 2nd and 3rd grade cast contains approximately 35 students led by Mr. Roth, Mr. Cifuentes, and Mr. Hanrehan. The jungle is jumpin' with jazz in this exciting adaptation of the classic Disney animated feature The Jungle Book. Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and the gang as they swing their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan. Adapted especially for young performers, this musical includes all your favorite Disney tunes, including “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wan'na Be Like You.” With colorful characters and that toe-tapping jungle rhythm, The Jungle Book KIDS is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for all ages.
